Welcome to Salty Lets in Challaborough Bay, South Hams, on the South Devon Coast!

We moved to the South Hams in 2010 and have loved living here ever since.

Zoe, originally from New Zealand, and Charlie from Scotland, fell in love with the South Hams after meeting in New Zealand the previous year. We travelled together for a while before ending up and deciding to settle in this beautiful and forever-providing area.

After moving around a bit within the South Hams, we found this perfect spot in Challaborough by the beach in 2010. The following year we started the sympathetic conversion of our 180 year old Coastguard Cottage which is now known as Cosy Beachside Cottage.

A few kids and years later, in 2018, we started work on what’s now known as Modern Beach House. Bit by bit this has evolved into our seaside open-living haven.

We spend most of our time in Challaborough and are very happy to answer any questions or help with any queries you may have during your stay.
